Software Development
Web applications, e-commerce, APIs and infrastructure, designed and built in-house by senior engineers. Fixed price, security built in, you own the code.
What we do
What’s included.
Web and application development
Full-stack products built with React, Next.js, Astro, Node and TypeScript. Custom code, no page builders — fast, accessible and production-ready from the first deploy.
Shopify and e-commerce
Custom theme builds, headless storefronts, platform overhauls and performance work. Theme architecture, product filtering, fulfilment integrations and the speed work that moves conversion.
API design and integrations
REST and GraphQL APIs, webhooks and third-party integrations — payment, CRM and internal systems — documented, tested, and built so the next developer can extend them.
UI/UX design
Interface design from wireframe through to production UI. We design in Figma and build in code, so nothing is lost in handover, and everything is tested on real devices.
Cloud infrastructure and DevOps
AWS, GCP, Vercel and Cloudflare: environments provisioned as code, CI/CD pipelines, zero-downtime deploys, monitoring and alerting, and cost tuning once it is live.
Performance audits
Lighthouse, Core Web Vitals, real-device testing and server-side profiling, producing a prioritised fix list with measurable before-and-after numbers. We can implement the fixes as well as find them.
Security built in
Secure-by-default engineering: authentication and session design, authorisation checks, dependency and supply-chain hygiene, secrets management and hardened headers — drawn from our cybersecurity consulting practice.
Packages
Two ways to start.
Cloud Infrastructure & AWS Optimisation Audit
Fixed-scope, typically 1–2 weeksStartups and mid-market teams running production workloads in the cloud
A review of your AWS, GCP or Vercel estate for cost, reliability and security, producing a prioritised fix list — and, if you want, the fixes applied rather than recommended.
- Cost analysis and rightsizing
- IAM and network exposure review
- Reliability, backup and disaster recovery review
- CI/CD and observability review
Full-Stack Product Build
Fixed price, typically 4–12 weeksFounders and product teams that need a production-ready web app or platform
A production-ready web application or platform designed, built and deployed by senior engineers at a fixed price, with full code ownership transferred to you on completion.
- Full source code ownership in a clean, documented repository
- Production deployment with CI/CD, monitoring and alerting
- Technical documentation and a handover session for your team
- Responsive, accessible interfaces tested on real devices
How it works
Start to handover.
- 01
Discovery
We work through what you are building, who it is for, and the constraints — budget, deadline, existing systems. If a cheaper off-the-shelf answer exists, we say so.
- 02
Scope and fixed quote
A written scope with the technical approach, deliverables and timeline, quoted at a fixed price. No hourly billing and no scope surprises later.
- 03
Build
Weekly demos against a working staging environment. You see progress in the product rather than in a status report, and you can change direction while it is still cheap to do so.
- 04
Launch and handover
Production deploy, monitoring in place, documentation written, and the repository transferred to you. Thirty days of post-launch support as standard.
Who it’s for
Built for teams like these.
FAQ
Questions.
How does fixed-price work in practice?
We scope the project in detail before quoting, then commit to that price. If you change the scope mid-project we price the change and you decide — but you are never billed for our estimating errors. No hourly billing and no surprise invoices.
Who actually works on the project?
The senior engineers you meet in discovery. We do not subcontract, offshore, or put junior developers on client work. Our team is small and each engineer has over ten years in production systems.
Who owns the code?
You do. On completion, full ownership of the codebase transfers to you — delivered on GitHub, documented, with no proprietary lock-in and no licence fees.
How long does a project take?
A focused feature or integration sprint runs one to three weeks. A full web application or e-commerce build typically runs four to twelve weeks. The timeline is agreed in the scope before any code is written.
What happens after launch?
Revisions within agreed scope are covered until it is right, and thirty days of support are included. After that, most clients move to a monthly retainer for new features, maintenance and priority response.
